funding treatments to end paralysis...
A brief outline of Trust PA Spinal Injury Charity
(The picture is of P-A in Hospital Spinal Unit with his Physio Mel)
Trust PA Spinal Injury was set up in memory of Paul-Andre Blundell by his family after his tragic rugby accident in Sept 2001.
One of his friend’s perceptive comment was; “one could always trust P-A” so this being true, the name was obviously appropriate for our charity set - up in 2002.
At Trust PA we work to help fund - the process of converting the latest pioneering science into future NHS treatments for the repair of permanent paralysis from a broken neck or back – this is known as spinal cord injury (SCI) paralysis.
In time this will restore both sensation and movement to SCI men, women and children. The resulting knowledge will also help specialists to fix many other central nervous ailments.
