INDIVIDUAL UK Taxpayer - Gift Aid Declaration Form.
DOWNLOAD BUTTON - bottom of the page.
The following information reflects the exact information as listed on a downloadable Gift Aid Form (see below) and explains what the system is all about and what information we need to be able to make a successful claim.
Gift Aid increases the value of donations to UK charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) by allowing them to reclaim basic rate tax on a donor gift. If you pay higher rate tax you can claim extra relief on the donations you have made via your annual tax claim process. If you claim age-related allowances or tax credits, Gift Aid donations can sometimes increase your entitlement.
The Gift Aid scheme is available for gifts of money by UK Taxpayers. Charities (or CASCs) take your donation - which is money you've already paid tax on - They can reclaim basic rate tax from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on its 'gross' equivalent - the amount before basic rate tax was deducted.
Basic rate tax is 20 per cent, so this means that if you give £10 using Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to the charity.
As Trust PA is a registered charity with the UK Charity Commission (Reg. Charity No.1093038) we have an account with HRMC so eligible reclaim appropriately declared Gift Aid on supporter donations.
